Just when I talked in one of my previous posts here that we would not have food delivered tonight, the hubby ended up ordering from McDo Damosa. I had finished one cup of instant noodles just awhile ago and that was my late dinner since I had been busy even until now. But food at this hour is still much welcome anyway the lil boy and I can eat the rest for breakfast tomorrow.

I may have to stop eating late at night and close to midnight particularly having midnight snacks. It is no excuse I know that just because I did not have dinner, I can have midnight snacks or else that diet supplement I have been reading on for quite sometime might become a daily part of my life. Actually given there are so many diet stuff offered and found in the market these days, it is hard to know which is best for me. Who does not want to lose weight the smart way and fast?

Adventures of Jimmy Neutron on Nick

The lil boy is hooked on watching lately the Adventures of Jimmy Neutron on the Nickolodeon channel on cable tv.  This is an animated tv series about this boy genius name Jimmy Neutron. Sometimes I find his character annoying. There is one episode which we saw before with the lil boy that I have to find a way to change the channel to Disney coz I somehow did not like the story of that episode. Jimmy made some evil deeds that I did not want the lil boy to see. He may not get the story really but if he may then that was something I did not want him to follow.

Bothersome

Undecided

Undecided as to what I wanted to eat that is. It is late at night and still had no dinner busy catching up and finishing work. Hubby called and asked me what I wanted for bring home food. I could not decide coz I wanted something but the resto is already closed at this time. Oh well hubby got home just now and he brought me nothing else but noodles in a cup! This will do for now. We must save and having food delivered again would be additional cost that would eat up a part of our savings.

Need Help

I was surprised to have been contacted by one of our distant relatives who is temporarily based and living in New Jersey right now. Years before, they were based in Boston but he has different job right now and has to move to MJ till he’s reassigned to another state, he said. Well he saw me online a few hours ago and he said he need help to get a list of car insurance companies and some car insurance information for the 50 states in the US. My relative is not the techie type of person he admits so searching online for a car insurance for his son’s new car is already a tedious undertaking for him he said.

Music & Silence

The lil boy found the birthday gift that hubby hid in our room. Dunno with hubby but he did not give the gift until the lil boy found it on our room’s bed while hubby was getting something from the cabinet that he forgot to hide it again. But I think it’s high time if not too late for the lil boy’s birthday two months ago.

This birthday gift hubby chose was the biggest among the gifts we bought for him. It’s a sing-along magic keyboard in concert. It’s battery operated so hubby thought we really need to buy new rechargeable batteries. Well since the boy was able to open this gift finally before hubby left for work this afternoon, he had been playing it non-stop until he must have been tired that he became silent all of a sudden just awhile ago and when I looked at him he was fast asleep.  He is so happy with the gift. He likes music and he loves to play this keyboard toy. Last night we were playing with his yellow guitar toy which is also battery operated but I dunno but later last night it won’t turn on anymore. We had fun playing the guitar which seems like a piano too. I think we can buy him more musical toys rather than more toy cars. Read the rest of this entry »»»

Gold Coins

These days, saving sometimes is not enough. I have been thinking of taking some of what savings in the bank that does not earn much and you know with the way the economy goes sometimes, we cannot be sure if we’ll still have that money or not. But I am thinking of investing that way the money we worked hard for to earn and save will earn more compared to when we just keep them in the bank but of course there are risks involved. But just like in any kind of business, investing takes risks too.

I was told before that there is what I may consider a unique investment for me. I was told to invest in gold coins. It have never crossed my mind as an option for me but why not given that gold is one of the safest way that one can protect the wealth they have accumulated. We may not have that much wealth to accumulate. But if you do have, take the opportunity to invest in this option. It is way more stable than our paper currency and over time it becomes more valuable. It is often protected from inflation so there is not much worry when the economy is not good.  People must learn how to invest and this has a great investment potential.
