And She is Gone

And she is gone as expected. I meant the nanny. She reasoned that her ulcer might strike again aside from her supposed main reason that she does not like to work at home. This makes you think what do nannies expect their work to be? Come to think we treated her well on her first day and we even traveled far late last evening to just have her go to the mall as a sort of treat while it happens to be also our family day out on hubby’s off.

Well the first time I saw her and see how she is though I know she won’t last long. And how right I was. I was just hoping for a possible miracle. Her sister texted us that her older sis who was here with us should have thought better to work during this crucial time in their family. She might like to become a sales lady or something rather than care for our son. At least she was honest enough so early on that she does not like to take care of a child rather than have a scary thought that something bad may happen to our son in her care when we are not around. She also wrote that to us in her letter saying she is afraid that she might hurt our baby. Which made me wonder if she might possibly have intentions or possible thoughts on being negligent in her work as the nanny who will care for my son.

I really was not expecting she would stay. I gave hubby a chance when he said his friend found a possible nanny. I was more into thinking we really do not need a nanny as we will just adjust, sacrifice and do what we need to do in order to juggle taking care of our son and all the work we have to do. I think we are better off without a nanny no matter how tiring and hard it can be at times.
