Breakfast at McDo
Well my son and I had a rather late breakfast at McDo VP. With hubby at work this morning, I decided to treat ourselves and do some bonding time at McDo since it is a weekend and it is Saturday and it is so hot so what better way than to find some place to eat, bond and cool ourselves wit. My son had his usual fave french fries and hotcake. I had my usual one piece crispy chicken. I took photos of him I have not downloaded yet to my laptop. He was ready to pose for me with his ever ready smile with the usual matching tilt of his head to one side.
It was a happy breakfast for us. I just hope hubby was with us to bond and enjoy time together but he has work even during weekends. Our “weekend” is moved to the first two days of the weekdays. They even have work during holidays and New Year! Glad though they do not have work during Holy Thurday and Good Friday but those days won’t be a good time to have a bonding time and breakfast at McDo right? Just kidding! That is how it is with hubby’s kind of work. But then I have learned to accept that is just how it is and it is just for us to adopt and adjust to what time we have together with hubby’s ever changing and different work schedules plus their 24 hours shift duty though he just work for 8 hours but then it is shifting sked. We just have to make do with what time we have. glad I am a stay and work at home mom already so I am there 24/7.
Anyway I was supposed to just talk about our breakfast with McDo yet I ended up talking most of hubby’s work sked. Well it crossed my mind when I wondered when we could have breakfast together at McDo or even Jollibee again. Though I also missed our buffet breakfast at Probinsya which had more choices of food unlike McDo and it is sometimes more cheaper. yet then again they have different food served. So when we want American style breakfast then we head on to McDo and then when we want a buffet Filipino breakfast then we head on to Probinsya. We have yet to try their lunch and dinner buffet though but it is more than twice as expensive.
