Hubby and I want a different viand and since we still have a lot of fish in the freezer, we thought last night that we should have tinolang isda or fish tinola today (I still am not sure what the English term for this recipe is – still searching though). Hubby is a better cook so I let him have the kitchen. I am a better “eater” hahaha.
Hubby’s simple version of tinolang isda recipe:
2 slices malasugue
1/2 medium size onion sliced
2 medium size tomatoes
salt
How to cook:
Clean the fish. In a pot bring to a boil 1 1/2 liter of water, add onion and tomato (we do not have in tanglad and ginger which you can also add) then simmer for 3 to 5 minutes. Add in the fish and continue to simmer for 3-5 minutes. Season with salt to taste. Cook until fish is already cooked. Serve hot.
It is just a very simple recipe coz we really did not plan to cook this when we went to the market last week. But good enough to have a hot soup on a cold, rainy weather like what we have here today.

We just got back from malling at VP with my son and we happen to meet there my eldest sis, my niece and nephew (their youngest). My son and I were at the carousel just letting my son watch the other kids riding the carousel coz I don’t like the idea of riding it coz it easily makes me dizzy. After awhile I decided to walk around again and I told my son so then when we stood up, we saw them coming towrds our direction also. So then my sis let my niece and nephew ride the carousel while she goes up to DCWD to pay their water bill. I let my niece ride the carousel with my son supposedly while I would just take photos but my son refused to ride if I am not the one beside him there. So I was forced to ride the carousel with him and I really got a little dizzy so I just held on tight to the pole while trying to hold CT and keep him in place so he won’t fall off the horse. Hmmm well I would not want to ride again. I feel to old to be riding it anyway. I will just stand on the side and take photos of my son.

If you were wishing on a star right now what would you wish for?
I would wish for good health always for my son, hubby and my family as well as guidance, protection, happiness, peace of mind, unity, harmony, more time to bond again despite our busy separate lives (as to my married siblings), prosperity, more friends, peace, joy and more love. I could honestly go on wishing for these things for my family. I know I need no star for God grants and will continue to grant these things to those who believe.
