Samsung 32″ wide full 1080 HD LCD TV: Bigger! Wider! Pixelized!??

I finally got the other night this Samsung 32″ wide full 1080 HD LCD TV on my wish list with funds coming from my PF which I waited for years. Thank you to my mommy! Anyway so this TV is bigger, wider than our Samsung 21″ TV but sad and truly disappointed I almost cried that when hubby fixed the cable TV connection yesterday afternoon, the reception of the cable TV is pixelized!!! This is truly good for movie watching but sadly I did not know that the cable TV signal which is still analog is not compatible with this digital LCD TV.

So watching CNN, Velvet, Star World, ABS, GMA and almost all the other channels in the cable TV is compromised seeing those “bees” on the TV screen. I told myself this good only for movies TV did not serve its purpose for me. But there is hope that the cable provider will upgrade its signal to LCD TV-friendly platinum packagewhich might be available next year yet here. For now we have to accept the sad reality that watching cable TV programs would not be as nice as we were expecting it to be given the features of this HD LCD TV.

    Dear Tere:
If you are disapppointed, I am willing to have it if you dont want it. Approached any appliance shops for assistance and I’ve heard about HDMI? They said it makes the image and sound on your LCD TV better. I’m not that particular about it but do ask. Or get a digital box which I’m for sure3 will make the pic sharper and brighter just like here in UK. We had a switchover and now have more channels than usual including radio frequencies. It also have a guide on whats on on each channel and the next program to watch. Dont get depressed. You got your wish but just needs to have some more adjustments to do. Nothings perfect! Just imagine the people who have no TV or radio at all. Lastly, buy a sony or Panasonic model which is more durable and guaranteed better pics. Samsung tends to have blurring images on screen after a year. Thats what I’ve heard. Take care, Tere! Enjoy it!
