Medical Help
Last week I received a message from one of my old classmates regarding one of our classmates who is in dire need of a medical help. I am really touched and I will be extending help in my own little way. She has a four year old daughter and she has to undergo a kidney transplant. In fact she has undergone several surgeries already due to he illness. It is really sad to know someone you really know is going through this medical emergency. Our classmates will to survive is for her to see her daughter grow and still be able to take care of her.
It made me realize how hard it is to find oneself in such a situation where such a great amount of money has to be raised in order to be able to be operated. Not only are those her concerns, she is also diabetic and has to take daily medicines that are expensive. She is now on leave from her work and as far as I know, her health insurance has been used up already though it was a big help along the way.
For us who are not in her situation, we would realize we have to be always prepared but not all are. Before it’s too late we need to take action aside from taking care of our health, we can get a health care insurance like that of Blue Cross North Carolina where we will be able to get comprehensive medical coverage at rates that fit our budget. You can choose to purchase maternity or dental coverage with your health care plan. And whether you would want to manage a health condition or just be able to improve your fitness and nutrition, they do have a program for you. Insure yourself that is one thing my mom always tell me so maybe that’s why she is also into this sideline business herself for a long time.
