New Job for the New Year

A new job for the new year! I wish I can say that for myself. Well the idea is brewing in my mind and so the job hunt begins. I love working at home and being with my boys 24/7 especially with the little boy. But there are times when I wanted to go back to work when the little boy is on a whole-day schedule in school which will be next school year yet.

So when a friend told me about looking for Telecomm Specialist Jobs I suddenly thought why not look for a job online myself. No such pressure but if I do find a good one, I might just grab the chance. I am open to the idea of getting a new job for the new year as long as I find a job that I will love otherwise it will just take me away from my time with my boys. I would like it too if it won’t necessarily be an 8-5 daily job. I can only pray for divine guidance in the choice of a new job if ever it will be granted.

Not Choosy

These days when unemployment can be high anywhere in the world, it is better when one is not choosy when it comes to the kind of work that one does. Busser Jobs is probably something that not many people would go for before but these days like in the newest mall in town I see more people taking this kind of jobs which is something that they describe before is for those that does everything which the waiters don’t wanna do.

I say it is better than being lazy and idle with time wandering around wherever being jobless and unproductive with your day. These jobs for bus boy or a bus girl are the terms that are used in the States for a person that works in a restaurant and catering industry clearing dirty dishes, taking the dirty to the dishwasher, setting tables, as well as assisting the waitresses and waiters. Again I think there are times that some people should not be choosy with work as long as it is legal and decent and pay is good enough. Better rather than having no work and pay at all.

People choose various careers. These days, my mind has been opened to a different kind of career in the world of cosmetology. Make Up Seminar

For quite sometime now I get to read about this make up seminar from other people in a group that I just have become a member of. It makes me think of it like a short crash course for those who aim to go to a cosmetology school perhaps like the Baltimore beauty school. Not much of a make up user myself but it does inspire me to pamper myself to look good by using make up once in awhile. It will help to learn at the least and it can be an alternative career for some people.

About to Graduate

My eldest nephew is about to graduate from high school and I remember we once talked in person and over the phone about what course he will like to pursue in college. He did find interest in an it degree while years ago he said he wanted to be a chef too. Well he could make a career on both but with IT people in demand in this age of continuously advancing technology in the world, we would prefer that he pursues a degree in IT indeed and he could always opt for culinary arts as short term course when he has extra time.

How time flies and he is about to graduate. I would still remember the joy to have him as a baby visiting us at my parents’ home years ago and here he is growing up and as I said about to graduate and pursue the university.

Nursing Uniforms

I met one of our friendly neighbors who was looking for nursing uniforms for her daughter who works as a nurse in one of the local hospitals in town. I did tell her she can look for cheap nursing scrubs online at Blue Sky Scrubs and she said she will tell her daughter to look up to it when she gets home. She did not find any quality and fashionable looking scrub set that her daughter liked at the department store. She took note of the one I told her to look and window shop online. This was the same online shop that I also told my sister who works as a nurse abroad.

Our neighbor was hoping to find nursing uniforms that are similar to the cotton scrub uniforms for nurses that are sold at Blue Sky. You can choose among your prefered inseam length to color to pocket placement and stitching color and they have it. Just let them know what you want and prefer for your nursing uniforms.

Job Hunting

A former office mate surprised me by contacting me through an email. She had resigned from her job years ago and took a health care course as sort of a second course for her. She is now doing some job hunting said she remembered I have a sister who is in the healthcare profession. She was just asking if I can recommend any health care jobs that I may come to know of through my sister.

I did reply to her that my sister is now working abroad and might not be much of a help to her. I did suggest though that she can find the job she may be looking for through the many job sites and job portals that one can find these days over the internet. It is just knowing where to look and search for those jobs and in my former office mate’s case, she can indeed find lots of healthcare job postings. I did give her a health care job site that I am sure will be very helpful for her job hunting.

Recently my interest in makeup aside of course from learning to pamper myself has opened my mind to a possibility of pursuing not only makeup seminars offered in a mall in town. It also made me think that these career options has widened more as these schools offering cosmetology courses like the Regency Beauty Institute that has existed for half a century and still continues to grow They do have a cosmetology school in Phoenix where you can learn and pursue a beautiful career in this certified school of beauty. Their graduates are sought after so one need not worry about after for they have partner salons who can easily hire you.

Stay Faithful to Your Partner

Over the weekend, we met someone we knew in the airport while waiting for our flight going back home. We still had a about a couple of hours till our flight and so we got the chance to chat with that friend while we had our late lunch. They were talking with hubby about their respective work until the topic went into something where I heard someone they knew almost getting the herpes simplex because of being known to have been seeing many women.

I am just thankful to realize now that it was a good decision that hubby did not accept yet the offer of promotion that would require him to transfer office and probably be exposed to those kind of temptations and worse to that kind of disease. Hubby assured me that I can trust him and I really need to trust him that he will stay faithful to me as his partner. I will continue to pray for good health for my family as well as a strong and faithful relationship between me and hubby.

Choice of Career

Let us talk about beauty instead of anything else that is scary. I was watching a beauty makeover segment in one TV show a couple of days ago and while watching it, I started wondering the choice of career that the staff of that salon has chosen. But one thing I know though is that a lot of people who have become their clients and customers surely appreciate the beautiful work that they do on them. It must be one gratifying career when people appreciate the work that you do.

These salon staff must really talented or they have gone to a good school like one of those cosmetology schools in Wichita that even offer federal financial aid to those students who do qualify. The training program in this school of beauty as they would call it encourages their students to excel and shine at all times. They must truly come out as beauty experts in the future and salons all around the world would be delighted to have them among their truly qualified staff.
