Active Fun
For the past few days I have been trying to get out of my computer chair then go stand at the puzzle mat then just try to move the parts of my body. I try to be physically active and hopefully spend about thirty minutes a day stretching, moving, running, jumping or hopping in place, twisting or dancing with my son while he watches Barney videos. There are some songs there that he likes to dance to and hop around so I join him so we can have active fun together. I sometimes jog in his room while he wants to keep me there at times where he could see me. I just move and move my body hoping to sweat it out even just a little rather than doing nothing at all and sitting in front of my laptop most of the time.
Shake, Shake
My son stirred from his sleep this morning and he said to me while he was still so sleepy “Shake, shake” while pounding lightly his hand on his lap. At first I was confused then I realized he must have meant he wanted milk. He did not ask for milk before that so I wondered why he just woke up and said “shake, shake”. He must have dreamt of drinking milk or he was simply just hungry. My two-year old son would like to shake his milk in his hand trying to imitate us and somehow do his share too when we make his milk. He would pretend to get hurt as he would pound his hand on his lap unless you hand the milk over to him which would pacify him. Oh well he already got his shake, shake and his milk. Thinking about it, I suddenly crave for milk shake so early in the morning!
Chocolate Chip Cookies
I got hungry and I grabbed to eat the first thing I saw in the dining table – my son’s chocolate chip cookies. I dunno but I just suddenly got so hungry. I wanna have food delivered even the minimum requirement but we are on a strict budget right now until pay day comes. So these chocolate chip cookies of my son will have to do for my snacks right now. I can just have a few for I cannot consume them all for after all these are for my son who is asleep as of now.
