This Two-Hour Rotational Brownout
Is it inconvenient? For a mom who has a three year old lil guy in the house, it can be somehow especially when it gets hot and you have to constantly and manually fan the lil one so he won’t sweat so much. For today, we are now experiencing it and waiting for one hour more to go.
I just thought awhile ago, that to make it easy for me, I’ll just think this is our version of Earth Hour happening everyday two one-hours in a row. Earth Hour is only for an hour. This brownout is for two hours now since the late afternoon Thursday announcement from the local electric company. Let’s think we are doing this for mother earth. Actually we can do more. Save energy consumption every day though we cannot do away with that with the A/C for the lil boy and it is summer already and has become so hot lately. Hubby would say we have to make it comfortable for the lil guy in the house.
Don’t forget friends the real Earth Hour 2010 event on March 27, 2010 Saturday from 8:30PM to 9:30PM. Switch off your lights for one hour for mother earth… for the Earth Hour. Your little contribution is significant. If everyone in the country participate sin this, it will still make a significant difference. If you could do it everyday, why not? There need not be an event for us to do something for mother nature.
Weddings, Weddings
The other day, I happen to see music videos of two celebrities and others from a link shared by Ciara Sotto in her Twitter. I spent an hour or so watching and enjoying the wedding videos. Oh how I love weddings and see newly wed couple having fun and such bliss on their wedding day. Ciara’s wedding was at MPC as shared by one of my friends who happen to be also there at that place but they are not part of the wedding actually.
It fun to have that venue for a wedding much more for couples who opt to have destination weddings that I once dreamed of having. I have seen couples having their dream wedding come true. For couples out there planning to have their dream wedding they may think of the world of sensuality and seclusion on the white-sand beaches of Riviera Maya may have to offer to make their wedding more intimate and done in paradise. I’m sure the wedding guests will get to enjoy not only the blissful wedding moments but get to enjoy being close to nature. As I have heard these are destinations made for lovers, where sea and sunsets set the stage for glorious and blissful weddings.
I’m Full
I’m full supposedly yet I ate again and it’s close to midnight. Not just snacks but I had a little rice that was leftover from this morning. Who cannot resist the food that hubby brought home – chicken and spaghetti plus our leftover rice. There is a reunion that’s coming mid this year and I wanted to lose weight at the least before then. Maybe I’ll take those quick weight loss diets as an option. I also plan to try eating less rice in my diet. Then there was something I read from a poster outside near the clinic of my son’s pedia which I think will help me in my diet. I’ll try to get a copy of that and do some of the things mentioned there.
Finally
Finally tied the knot and that is how it is for someone we knew from a photography forum and his girlfriend whom we met a few times. It was quite an intimate and formal occasion with the groom and his male entourage all in tuxedo. These days, a new tuxedo for some people is an important element in any formal affair or wedding event. Last Two
Last two days of 2009 will be busy. We have to catch up with the bank tomorrow or on the last banking day of the year. But hubby will be on duty on those times so I dunno if I can handle the lil boy by myself. I may have to leave him with my mom for awhile. Plus there are chores and tasks to do before the year ends. Gotta get busy now.
