Inevitable

Death is inevitable and what a mom of a celebrity said recently, it is the one thing that is sure in life. Having said that then it is something we often take for granted but something we should think of at one point not too late I hope. It is not being morbid but more of being practical coz as we know it is inevitable and comes to each of us at one time or another. So have you ever thought of a funeral planning? Do you know you can now get funeral tips on funeral planning, funeral costs and more online? Yes there is and there is even a funeral guide and if ever you are going to one, you can prepare yourself for it, including visitation and condolence call by going through their guide on funeral customs and funeral etiquette. Even at this, you may want to browse through and get to know what to do if it’s your first time to come to a funeral of either a friend, officemate or someone you might know. As one fo my friend used to joke, you won’t want to do something wrong there that would wake up the dead, right?

Fasting

Today was Ash Wednesday, the start of the Lenten season and therefore marks the start of the season of fasting and abstinence for us. I am kind of hoping this season will help me reflect and think less of food and more of fasting and abstinence as I was reminded while browsing through earlier on this day before we left for church those lipozene reviews which says it is extremely an overpriced product. That is what the review says. So if you wanna diet and want help of a diet supplement then might as well look for the best ones that is also priced right and works effectively for you. You can’t go on investing hard-earned money over something which does not work well after all. Those reviews will indeed be a help when deciding on which supplement to buy. On the other hand, if you can’t decide, you may try fasting and abstinence combined with daily and regular physical exercise too. It may do wonders just like having those supplements.

Well Child Visit

How much I would wish this would be another “well child visit” to be noted by our lil boy’s pedia later but as it is the lil one has cough and started to have a slight fever since late yesterday afternoon. But he remains lively, playful and cheerful as ever. So moms and moms-to-be out there should very well know the importance of taking care of their babies even from the start of pregnancy by taking prescribed prenatal vitamin by the OB-gyn that will help babies develop  well, and as for up to now with vitamin supplements recommended by your child’s pedia to help them become stronger and more resistant to illness and diseases in addition to the scheduled vaccinations given.

May the Lord heal me and my boys especially the lil boy. Let this be a well child visit indeed and may he need not take antibiotics.  We are so thankful to my mommy and daddy as well as my family for their prayers and support always for me and the boys. My own family never rejected or neglected our call for help.

Sunny Day

It will be a sunny day and I will remain positive today. I will try to remain strong for myself and the boys who are not feeling that well. I remain hopeful and I trust the Lord that He will heal me and my boys as the Lord Jesus heals. Just as the sun shines today, I know we will be better soon. Will catch a few winks with the boys for now as we were up so early today. See you later!

MN Snack

I’m getting hungry right now just in time for midnight snack. I’ll just munch on the bread on the table coz it will expire tomorrow. No one opened it since we bought it yesterday. Good thing the little boy helped me start eating it last night. We cannot throw away food thinking there are a lot of people who has less or no food to eat. I am blessed I can even have my midnight snack. Ever thankful to the Lord for His blessings!

Missed It

We missed attending mass today. I was not feeling well lately plus the little boy just slept about fifteen minutes before when we were about to go to church for the last mass. It somehow does not feel right when we miss the mass but I hope that the good Lord will still bless us. We will just try to hear mass during the weekday. We rarely miss the Sunday mass plus the electricity went out many times today and the last one just at the same time that the lil boy slept, aside from the water interruption since 10PM last night.

Feast of St. John the Baptist

It is June 24 and the feast of Saint John or San Juan as we call it here where towns and suburbs named San Juan (St. John the Baptist) celebrate this festival and it usually involves playfool “baptism” where people pour or throw water at each other. It can go into a free-for-all water fight with much drenching as well as laughter. I already saw on the morning TV show in one place in Manila where kids, teens and adults alike are dancing and jumping on the streets while being drenched with water sprayed on the street. Well it is good to have fun but just make sure they don’t get sick… given the spread of H1N1 in Manila.
