Outdoor Furniture for Dad
I suddenly remember that we passed by a few days ago at this furniture shop on our way to a mall and it has been in my mind since that I hope I can have some budget to buy my dad this outdoor furniture that I found which he will find very useful when he stays at my sister’s house for a few hours. There is a space outside my sister’s house where we usually hang out to get fresh air especially when it gets windy out there.
This rustic natural cedar log farmers table with benches will be something my dad will like. We can hang out here with my sisters during weekends or can also dine there when we have our family gatherings. We can even eat there for a change or perhaps have a little barbeque party in the near future for family bonding.
Other than that, I got interested in those log beds, that are naturally resistant to decay and insect damage, which I saw which I know my dad will also appreciate. He likes that kind of bed actually and he prefers it over other kinds of modern bed. I used to sleep in that kind of bed when I was so much younger and it feels good to sleep on too. There is another furniture though the log daybed would be great to have in the shady area outside the house of my sister’s place. I could sleep there during the afternoon on weekends. What is good about my sister’s place is that there are not too many neighbors yet there and you get a good view of the highest mountain in the country plus the sunset! So it is nice to stay outdoors, lounge at these outdoor furnitures and enjoy time bonding with the family especially with my dad.
Making A Choice
I am making a choice to save and invest rather than buy something for myself which I think is useful in my line of work yet may not be as practical to spend on for now. With the current situation, what drives me now is to work hard, save and invest possibly in a good investment that will secure my lil boy’s future hopefully. If I can make a choice of the kind of investment that I like now, I wish to buy gold coins as an idea which I have gotten from a few friends of mine. I have been told it is a good way to safeguard one’s savings in a kind of investment that becomes more valuable over time. Now being able to invest in it is something worth making a choice now.
Teaching The Husband
I am constantly teaching the husband to stop taking the negative approach with th lil boy. He still keeps on using the “No, “Do not” and other negative words in addressing the lil boy to which the lil boy reacts. I have been telling him how to say it in a more nice and positive way but it seems he does not listen. I am also teaching him over and over again not to hurt the lil kid as a way of discipline. We have agreed in ways to discipline the lil boy but he tends to forget at times and it hurts me as a mother. If it’s hard to teach my son, more so for the husband. Lord help me!
Memory Gap
Someone I know seems to be having a memory gap more often the past few days or should I say the past few weeks. At least this someone is just forgetting simple things and things to do that we can just forget anyway. I am forgetful too but I think not as much as this someone with a memory gap and just laughs it off when I mention it. Which makes me think maybe this person can make use of that hgh spray I have read about yesterday that enhances memory plus other benefits like it increases hair growth which can also be a great added benefit to this person I have in mind; improve sleep, strengthens bones and muscles, and sharpen vision. As for me, I can benefit from it as it lowers blood pressure and improves sleep. Now before I have this memory gap myself, I better list down the things we need to bring tomorrow for the family gathering for my dad’s advance birthday celebration.
Expecting
Got some good news from a friend of mine who got married about six years ago. They have been trying to conceive a baby and working it up since then. Then a few days ago, I got a message from her and she said they are now blessed and expecting a baby. she is still within her first trimester and so I told her she really needs to be careful especially during this time. She needs to take prenatal vitamins to help reduce the risks that are often associated with pregnancy. I also told her not to drink coffee anymore because from what I remember she is a frequent coffee drinker.
I am truly happy with the news she shared with me. I hope she will be having a baby girl as what she has always dreamed of. But then again what is really important is for the baby to be healthy whether she will is expecting to have a boy or a girl.
Things To Do
Still so many things to do and it seem never ending.
- I just finished washing the dishes… Check!!!
- Then I have disposed of the two garbage bags that have accumulated over the past few days. Thanks to one of the boys who collects garbage in the neighborhood and one of them finally came by early this afternoon which was a surprise for they usually collect late afternoon… Check!!!
- Look for an affordable life insurance rate. This has been in my to-do list since the start of this year. The search goes on for a good insurance for me and the boys.
- Medical check-up. I promised hubby that I will undergo medical checkup after having felt those pain in the left side of my head down to the neck a few days ago.
- Enroll the lil boy this week. I think hubby’s decision will prevail to enroll him in the school nearby. I don’t want to deliberate anymore though I still have some reservations on the multi-level set-up plus that large amount of bond they asked us to pay on top of the tuition and other fees. The tuition and school miscellaneous fees are already comparable to sending the lil boy to college alma mater. Anyway, at least we were told we could get back the bond when we pull out the lil boy from the school.
- Hair Cut. The three of us needs haircut particularly hubby and also the lil boy before his school starts. I just need a trim. I didn’t realize my hair has grown so long. Good thing am just inside the house most of the time so I did not feel the need to have it cut short. Had I been exposed daily to the heat of this super hot summer, then I had long wanted to have it cut short.
- Shop for new clothes for the lil boy. They don’t have a uniform in their school and so I need to buy a few new clothes for him unless I make his old clothes like his uniform. Now that made me smile. He seems to have outgrown some of his clothes over summer.
These are just some of the things we need to do mostly before school starts.
Let’s Walk and Run
The lil boy really likes it when I say to him “Let’s walk and run” for he knows we will head to the treadmill in the room and “play” in it. It is kind of hard for us both using the same treadmill to walk and sometimes run in for it is a fun bonding time for both of us and for me it is a benefit since I would be somehow forced to use it often and this bonding moment becomes a chance to work out every day often. I wish though we had two treadmills so the lil boy can use one for each of us. I love those space saver treadmill that would be ideal for our small bedroom where we keep the one we have at home. Those hot seller Pro-form treadmills that are on sale for almost almost half their price are so tempting! Makes me wanna say let’s run and buy one right now!
