About to Graduate
My eldest nephew is about to graduate from high school and I remember we once talked in person and over the phone about what course he will like to pursue in college. He did find interest in an it degree while years ago he said he wanted to be a chef too. Well he could make a career on both but with IT people in demand in this age of continuously advancing technology in the world, we would prefer that he pursues a degree in IT indeed and he could always opt for culinary arts as short term course when he has extra time.
How time flies and he is about to graduate. I would still remember the joy to have him as a baby visiting us at my parents’ home years ago and here he is growing up and as I said about to graduate and pursue the university.
Time to Sleep
It is really time to sleep for me and the boys! It is rather late at night here and we are still wide awake. I wish the night is still young so I can still work longer tonight but that isn’t the case now. I am so tired yet there’s a lot to do but may just have to put them off till tomorrow. I am grateful though to be so busy because that means that these work I have are blessings that convert to financial resources that help us through our simple life.
Embarrassed
My nephew has learned to be embarrassed of the blackheads on nose that has become obvious and noticed by most of us when we had our family gathering last weekend. He ended up covering his nose whenever someone would ask about it. I guess growing up teens do experience this kind of awkward and embarrassing situations.
There is a treatment for that and we assured our nephew it should not be a cause to be truly embarrassed since we have all expereinced that somehow at one point in our teenage life. He just got told by his grandma to stop eating oily food and practice better hygiene in terms of washing his face before going to sleep. I remember I was also embarrassed when I get big zits on my face and I won’t deny that I also experienced blackheads before and it is something that I did not enjoy having.
