Looking for Fun

The little boy has school today while the big school nearby has none. I am getting bored but I have work to do while the little master is in school. At the same time, I am looking for fun too same as our little neighbor who seem bored earlier. Now he seem to be playing his older brother’s wii guitar. I wish I can go there over their house now and play with him because he is not the only one looking for fun.

I got to discipline myself and work the next four hours productively yet I remember I need to buy some stuff at the grocery even when there is a transport strike. It’s near anyway. It could be fun doing the grocery when there are not much people of the grocery aisle blocking your way with their carts in the middle. But with no class in most schools, should I assume they are in the malls now looking for fun? Hope the kids just stayed at home and played wii maybe!

Music On The Go

My nephew likes to have music on the go as they would describe it to me. I think he meant having something like those portable radios that make listening to music as easy as ever. There are MP3 players and iPods with matching cool looking earphones or headphones to go with it that teens and young people bring along wherever they go these days.

I am still waiting for hubby to let go of our old iPod Touch and maybe just maybe yet, my nephew could have music on the go soon as long as he promises us that he will study harder and use it responsibly especially when at school.

Smartphone

Kids and teen are lucky these days to have those smartphones like the blackberry torch at their age. During our time, we do not have those smartphones. Kids you can say have become techie at such a young age as they have these gadgets that they can even bring along at school.

We still have yet to have a smartphone in our household. We only got a Tablet which I say can be great enough already. I wonder if there will come a time in the future that the lil boy will be looking into these smartphones and ask for one from us. There might be not just smartphones then but superphones as there some called like that in the market out today. What is important with kids having these smartphones is for them to be responsible in the way they use these gadgets for their good.

Samsung Camera

My cousin is asking me about those 10MP samsung cameras. I have seen a few people using them at one of the mall’s event like that band concert a few days ago. It makes me wonder if it would also be nice to buy that camera for my sister and family to use so they need not borrow our other sister’s point and shoot camera, which was originally from us, when they have a school activity, any event or occasion to shoot.

I love some of those ultra-compact and stylish digital camera and I remember I used to look into this pink Samsung compact entry level digital camera at the camera store in the mall. I always wanted a digital camera that has the color pink which is my fave. But with my two boys around, I feel I should just go for the usual black or silver point and shoot camera. Still it will be nice to have a spare one with my fave color for a pink digital cam when budget allows me too.

iPhone4 White

My friend is trying to sell her old black iPhone to me so she can buy iphone as in the new one in white which was released recently if I am not mistaken. I think I read about its availability or release just recently over some updates at Twitter.

My want for an iPhone4 is no longer that strong since I realized we still have to maximize the use of our Galaxy Tab. The Instagram app is still something I would like to use but I have cameras anyway and it may sound really impractical to buy an iPhone just to have and use the Instagram that I so like before. But hey if anyone makes a mistake of giving me an iPhone4 white, well I would really accept it with all my heart!

Signal Strength

I wonder what could be a factor to signal strength for mobile phone signals in the city. My sister who has a different service provider would often have a weak signal when she is here inside our place. She would often ask us if we have any mobile cell booster around here. She had to go near the front door or go out of the house to have a clear reception when she gets calls from our other sister.

Maybe the concrete wall construction around here must be the factor causing a weak signal for her. While hubby and I who belong to another mobile phone service provider do not have as much problem as she does. But yes I think a mobile phone signal booster may help in cases like this when one needs more signal strength in certain areas around the city.

What I Wished for V-Day

This was what I wished for V-Day and still I’ll continue to wish for this iPad or the latest iPhone. Who knows this wish might just come true and it’s free to wish after all! Though I like our Samsung Galaxy Tab but it has hubby’s cellphone number in it so it’s somehow a shared gadget that I cannot have anytime or all the time for I know there will be a time in the near future that he may be needing the phone/tab to bring to work. So the wishing goes on and you could wish for it too that is if you don’t have it yet and if you like having it of course!

iPad Cases Only

Since we bought the GTab, we have been looking for a case for it but all we could find more now are ipad cases only which are a lot bigger than the case intended specifically for the tablet we have. If only hubby did not need a cellphone, we would have gone for the iPad actually which was my first choice. But our tab has a rear and back cam though I still continue to wish for an iPad somehow. It remains a wishful thinking same goes for the iPhone 4 that I wanted.

Okay we might just have to wait a little longer coz surely for now the available cases in the market are mostly for iPad cases only. Unless of course we find someone who could personally make one for us. We just don’t know where to find them for now.

BlackBerry

After often seeing tweets through a BlackBerry Twitter application with the last one from a local celebrity, I am starting to get curious of the possibility of wishing for a blackberry storm using touch screen perhaps just like the Apple iPhone.

I remember last year seeing a video of it being comapred to another smartphone. At that time the BB storm won the reviewer’s choice of a smartphone. Buying one will be something I can only wish for now. Unless someone will give it to me for Valentine’s day… just a wishful thinking for a BlackBerry!

MP3 Players

I got to talk to my nephews the other day when they called to tell us that we have gifts from my sis who works abroad. I was quite surprised because she never told me that she was sending us a package. Lecteurs MP3 was what my five year old nephew told me when I asked him what were the other things that were inside the box.

He actually wanted an MP3 player recently just like what his uncle has and he said he wished the boy was full of that. We would just be amused at what this imaginative and intelligent boy would sometimes say or answer. Just watch out when he starts asking! You’d be dumbfounded at what to answer and wonder how he’d come to know about such facts in life. Now I see he is more inclined to music just like his older brother.
