Selling Back Books

A few days ago, hubby and the little boy worked hand in hand packing away toys of the little boy in his room that he does not use anymore so as to clear the space and put them in the cabinet. Now I also thought about some books that I was able to bring as well as those that I still left in my parents house since we moved here. I want to sell textbooks which I still have many of them as well as some of the books that my sister in UK sent us which we no longer read. I found before one of  the best place to sell used books online where you can indeed sell back your used books online. You can now have a way to get the most of what you have paid for your books back, rather than let them rot and be damaged at your storage in the house.

New Neighbors

When we arrived home from dinner out to celebrate our anniversary with hubby and the little boy, we met a family of three outside the now empty unit next to us. We might have new neighbors soon. They seem to be a nice family and are we glad somehow that they also have a little boy but looks older than our very own little boy. I hope they would become good playmates if ever they would really move in next door soon. We’d be happy to welcome our new neighbors soon!

Work Fast

I need to work fast to catch up on my pending work opportunities. God has been good to us and we were able to pay off all bills as of yesterday through the blessings we have received. I need to work fast to meet the coming deadlines. The last thing I want and need is to cram during crunch time. Now the little boy is finally asleep, I’ll try to work fast for the hour or so but I have to be asleep before midnight if possible. I promised myself I need to sleep earlier as much as possible and catch up on lost sleep.

Door Opened

It may sound creepy but it never happened until a minute ago that the door to my son’s bedroom opened by itself. I thought it was the little boy looking for me since I am already up and working in the living room. But when I called out and he did not speak up, I took a peek and found the boys still in bed sleeping. No I did not see anything else unusual.

Okay I will give credit to hubby’s explanation that he might not have closed the door well. There is no wind coming from the living room that might have pushed it open. So it must be the air from the bedroom right? Okay, am gonna cut this story short now before I get more goosebumps.

Lotus and Lilies

A friend’s aunt had asked for our help in looking for pond plants such as lotus and lilies for a school project. I remember the park in the city used to have those in the pond near the man made falls in one part of it. But the lat time we went there which was quite a long while already, they were gone.

What I know though is that I have come across before one of the largest selections of pond plants online and I may just recommend that to my old friend’s aunt. All of the plants they sell are shipped direct from the grower fresh, healthy and are not harvested until you order it. They are ready for planting when they arrive and that is what I remember reading from that source.

I suddenly somehow got interested in those plants she was looking for but since we don’t own this place, we may just have to wait till we can have a small pond made in our own place and probably I’ll be getting from that supplier those lotus and lilies.

Why Buy Cooked Food?

My sis has been asking me why we buy cooked food especially the viand when we can cook. I told her it is easier and more convenient that way since we are only two in the house who really eats as the little one does not eat much even rice. He has his own diet quiet different from ours. We can also save in gas and electricity plus cost. Also we can buy and eat different kinds of viands each day without having to cook two different dishes. It saves us time too basically and it isn’t expensive unless we buy more than one or two viands sometimes which we can stretch into two or sometimes three meals each day. So that’s basically why we buy cooked food. Though I would love to cook our own viand one day especially those fave ones of ours. For now with no help at home, this will be more convenient for us.

Easy to Build

I remember my eldest sister as I came across this easy to build metal building that can serve as your garage or workshop or even functional storage area in your backyard. I recall one time we used to talk about where she could put the other stuff from their old house that are now all stuffed in our parents’ house. There are even some stuff that are left outside the house since my mom would not let her put it inside. Good thing there are less people living there now.

This easy to build structure can be placed in the adjacent vacant lot next to my parent’s place and they could make it a storage place for all the stuff that they don’t really need in the house. You can save so much compared to building a new house or storage room that is. It does not need any maintenance and it is guaranteed durable. I wish we can have this one to give more living space in my parent’s place.
