Busy

Today has been a busy day more of the house chores that were left pending since we were busy the past few days and we have been going out since the lil boy’s preschool summer class started. i just tried not to think of being tired and I just worked and worked without letting the idea of being tired going into my mind. At least I may get to have a breather from tasks online tomorrow since we will be going to my sister’s house for a little celebration of mine and my niece’s birthday. Tomorrow I’ll be busy eating… oppps I mean busy hand washing some of the lil boy’s clothes for school next week in the morning then family bonding in the afternoon.

Helping Out

Despite the busy days past and ahead, I have been helping out an old friend who is almost about to give birth and it’s about time to shower the mommy-to-be with lots of baby necessities and so there is this simple yet intimate baby shower to be held in a couple of weeks from now and I am trying to help out with the baby shower invitations. Found some trendy-colored invites for a baby shower that you can have personalized. And this one shown here is one of what I liked from the sample invites they have in the gallery I was able to browse through while the lil boy was having a nap earlier. Music & Silence

The lil boy found the birthday gift that hubby hid in our room. Dunno with hubby but he did not give the gift until the lil boy found it on our room’s bed while hubby was getting something from the cabinet that he forgot to hide it again. But I think it’s high time if not too late for the lil boy’s birthday two months ago.

This birthday gift hubby chose was the biggest among the gifts we bought for him. It’s a sing-along magic keyboard in concert. It’s battery operated so hubby thought we really need to buy new rechargeable batteries. Well since the boy was able to open this gift finally before hubby left for work this afternoon, he had been playing it non-stop until he must have been tired that he became silent all of a sudden just awhile ago and when I looked at him he was fast asleep.  He is so happy with the gift. He likes music and he loves to play this keyboard toy. Last night we were playing with his yellow guitar toy which is also battery operated but I dunno but later last night it won’t turn on anymore. We had fun playing the guitar which seems like a piano too. I think we can buy him more musical toys rather than more toy cars. Read the rest of this entry »

Couldn’t Resist

I guess I found out hubby and I couldn’t resist eating the roast suckling pig served at a dinner buffet at MP. But quite too late coz he had finished his plate by the time I saw this photo. I had been telling him we must avoid eating this but we both gave in to temptation during our Valentine’s dinner buffet there. I was just trying to avoid that we might need cholesterol medications if we don’t control our diet and stick to a healthy one from now on. I remember one of my online friends who has hypertension was advised to watch out her diet coz her cholesterol is about to cross the limit. My mom the last time she saw me, strictly told me not to eat meat anymore. Good thing my mom won’t see or read this. But I do know I don’t want to reach that point when I need to find out my cholesterol level is not healthy anymore and that I need to control it with the right medication!

Weddings, Weddings

The other day, I happen to see music videos of two celebrities and others from a link shared by Ciara Sotto in her Twitter. I spent an hour or so watching and enjoying the wedding videos. Oh how I love weddings and see newly wed couple having fun and such bliss on their wedding day. Ciara’s wedding was at MPC as shared by one of my friends who happen to be also there at that place but they are not part of the wedding actually.

It fun to have that venue for a wedding much more for couples who opt to have destination weddings that I once dreamed of having. I have seen couples having their dream wedding come true. For couples out there planning to have their dream wedding they may think of the world of sensuality and seclusion on the white-sand beaches of Riviera Maya may have to offer to make their wedding more intimate and done in paradise. I’m sure the wedding guests will get to enjoy not only the blissful wedding moments but get to enjoy being close to nature. As I have heard these are destinations made for lovers, where sea and sunsets set the stage for glorious and blissful weddings.

Finally

Finally tied the knot and that is how it is for someone we knew from a photography forum and his girlfriend whom we met a few times. It was quite an intimate and formal occasion with the groom and his male entourage all in tuxedo. These days, a new tuxedo for some people is an important element in any formal affair or wedding event. I came across before with FormalTux which carry a large variety of tuxedos from the top designers such name brands as Ralph Lauren. I used to look for tux for a formal wedding before for a friend of mine who was getting married then to her long-time long-distance boyfriend of seven years so that is how i cam across this very useful site when you’re looking for tux and formal wear for such an occasion such as a wedding.
