Fun Day Outdoors | FIFA Grassroots Pro-Active Course
It was a fun day outdoors for us today! What we thought was just for us especially the lil boy to watch the soccer/football training in the city, he was able to participate in it actually. Plus it was free!
I am glad that we were able to know about this soccer training here in our city through the site FutbolPH.com. The so-called FIFA Grassroots Pro-Active Course was a great opportunity for our son to enjoy the game and have a chance to have a few hours of FREE training in soccer/football through various soccer coaches in the city. I really hope that there would be more activities such as this in the near future.It is a great initiative to encourage more kids to get to play soccer and to be in sports rather than doing something parents don’t want them to be involved in.
For the Love of Basketball
Our neighbor, a teenage boy got injured last month after a game of basketball with his friends in school. He is healing well though he still needs to wear a basketball knee support to lessen the tremendous impact on his injured knee. he loves basketball so much and he is known to be a good and promising basketball player in his school.
He was even told at one point to stop playing until the injured knee is completely healed yet for the love of basketball, he wants to play still. If he were my child, I’d probably try to convince him to rest more first from playing but sometimes kids want to have their way and some all for the love of basketball.
Let’s Ride
Let’s ride! That’s what the little boy told hubby and me when he saw what looks like an atv power steering vehicle on a travel TV show where they made a feature of one of the local tourist destinations in the city. I actually wanted to try out the ATV ride in one of the resorts in the island facing the city which is just a few minutes away actually through boat ride. It is summer and it would be great to have a summer adventure outdoors. (more…)
