Seniors
While waiting for our dinner to be served at a resto, hubby said that he usually notice that there are many senior citizens staying at the family lounge area at the new mall in town. I told him if you become a senior like them, you would probably understand why they usually chose to stay in that area in the mall. If only I had so much leisure time to waste in the mall, maybe I would be with those seniors too taking advantage of the family lounge area provided where customers can sit and relax for awhile. No Change
There is one particular mall in the city that still continues with its practice of not giving centavos as change to most of their customers. It may be okay for some customers who simply disregard centavos anymore. But how about those other people who don’t have much money. Like yesterday, a young man probably a student was not given his change of 0.55 centavos. This may be simply nothing to you and it may not be relevant but for me if you would consider this as a regular practice of the mall it may sum up to something big for someone especially the poor. Don’t Use Your Cellphone While Driving
Driving while using the mobile phone is dangerous and just awhile ago we passed by a driver crossing the intersection while talking to someone on the phone. The other night too in a busy intersectio in another part of the city, we also saw a driver moving slowly because he was busy texting. Good think nothing happened to him.
These drivers should be taken off the road. I hope there is a law against that here in the city. Some drivers already get involved in road accidents not doing that so how much more if their attention is not on the road all the time? They just scare me when they are on the road driving and doing stuff on their mobile phones. Don’t they ever think of their own lives as well?
