Shape Little Train

I wonder where this shape little train and its parts are now. I just saw photos of this as I was making a backup of our photo files again. We bought this a few months ago at the toy’s section in the mall nearby. We were glad to find this there since the first supplier I found online would not reply.

Good thing the mall has educational toys like this now. Before it was not that readily available unless you go to Multiply sites selling educational kids toys like this. But they can be quite expensive and you have to pay for the freight.

Music & Silence

The lil boy found the birthday gift that hubby hid in our room. Dunno with hubby but he did not give the gift until the lil boy found it on our room’s bed while hubby was getting something from the cabinet that he forgot to hide it again. But I think it’s high time if not too late for the lil boy’s birthday two months ago.

This birthday gift hubby chose was the biggest among the gifts we bought for him. It’s a sing-along magic keyboard in concert. It’s battery operated so hubby thought we really need to buy new rechargeable batteries. Well since the boy was able to open this gift finally before hubby left for work this afternoon, he had been playing it non-stop until he must have been tired that he became silent all of a sudden just awhile ago and when I looked at him he was fast asleep. He is so happy with the gift. He likes music and he loves to play this keyboard toy. Last night we were playing with his yellow guitar toy which is also battery operated but I dunno but later last night it won’t turn on anymore. We had fun playing the guitar which seems like a piano too. I think we can buy him more musical toys rather than more toy cars.

I’d love to motivate my son to be inclined in playing musical instruments. I am or was a frustrated pianist. LOL! I always wanted to learn piano when I was growing up but my mom may have thought learning it would get in the way of my studies. It could have been a good extra-curricular activity but they thought we should focus on our studies. I was always expected to be in the honor roll during my grade school and high school too. But I am glad they did somehow coz it helped me a lot. Anyway, if our lil boy will be musically inclined as he grows, I would let him learn as long as we can afford to pay for the lessons.

I’ll take this opportunity to work while the lil musician is at rest from making music here at home and while there is silence to let me concentrate at work for awhile.

Transformers Bumblebee | McDo Happy Meal Toy

This is the Transformers Bumblebee from the McDonalds Happy Meal Toy which I got for the lil boy and started collecting a few days ago. This is just his second toy from this Happy Meal toy set. I already got him the Optimus Prime. There are still two or three more I think. When we went to SM the other day, they don’t have this yet. Dunno why but they still have the old set of toys for their Happy Meals. I’ll just go back to the McDo nearest us where I got the two Transformer toys.

Happy Meal, Happy Boy

After attending mass this afternoon, the lil boy uttered french fries and pointed to McDo outside VP so hubby and I decided to have a very late lunch there instead. We checked if they have new toys for the Happy Meal but they still have old toys to dispose of. The lil boy loves musical toys lately (in fact hubby chose a little expensive musical toy for him for his birthday which the lil boy still has to open on Friday). Hubby and I decided to have two Happy Meals so the lil boy can have the red drums toy and the yellow guitar. Not exactly great toys but hubby and I were sure they made the lil one a happy boy.

Cowie the Dancing Cow Stuff Toy

This is Cowie, my son’s dancing cow stuff toy given by his tito and tita last New Year. He had fun dancing with Cowie and his grandpa last new year when they were here in our house. Until now, my son loves to dance with Cowie and he even let me join them in dancing. I just hope my son will let this toy live longer and I think it will coz he takes good care of it. One time he even lets Cowie sleep beside him at night and kissing Cowie in the nose before going to sleep.
