Lounge Outside

I would love to lounge outside in the already shady part of the small front lawn space we have here. I was looking at those outdoor chair cushions in a house we passed by on our way home and that made me wish we also have that one. In the school where my son had his summer class, they have this lounge area but they don’t have outdoor cushions so I usually opt to stay inside in the parent’s waiting area though there are times that I want to lounge outside even if it means being with nannies who talk about their ward and their employers. You can’t help but hear a few gossips here and there. Anyway, what I want to do out there is just relax and enjoy the shade even in a hot summer afternoon while waiting for the lil boy.

At home, I rarely get to stay outside during afternoon as we usually just stay inside the house so the lil boy won’t sweat too much or worse get sick because it is sometimes too hot for him outside. But there are times that when hubby’s home then I may be able to stay outside unless of course the lil boy would love to join me. Now that would depend if the weather is good or not for the lil one to lounge outside.

Rain, Rain Go Away

The lil boy and I were singing rain, rain go away as we saw rain clouds coming over. We just finished hanging the clothes hubby and I washed last night as we just got home. We would like to take advantage of the hot and sunny weather though it starts to become cloudy all of a sudden. We hope the clothes would dry fast before it rains. It has been a very hot day today and I felt that while we were waiting for a ride home before noon. It still has not rained as of this writing and I wish that gives those wet clothes enough time to dry up before it does rain.

When It Gets Cold

It may be really super hot during the day in the middle of summer here. But in my sis’ place it is still cold somehow and she used to tell me there are times when it gets so cold there at night or even during the day that she would wish they can still stay or escape to their backyard when their friends would come over during weekends and have a barbeque party perhaps or just enjoy the outdoors with the family or with a group of friends when they don’t have work even when it gets cold there.

Windy

And it is yet another windy afternoon! yesterday morning was windy but somehow the wind blowing reminds me of that air coming from a blower. It was some kind of warm air blowing though I appreciated that coz it made the clothes I washed and was hanging outside dry faster. Now the wind blowing outside is much cooler than that of yesterday. People should be thankful for it makes the hot afternoon much cooler compared to when there is no wind blowing and that would be a hot, hot afternoon.

More Rain

We need more rain especially for those areas really affected by the El Nino phenomenon and for us here in our region where we continue to experience rotating brownouts for two hours each day because of much reduced generation capacity of the hydro electric plants in Lake Lanao resulting to load curtailment to the power supply here in the city. If the water level in that lake will become normal again then most probably these brownouts will stop. So we pray for more rain and that the water level be normalize again. Some places and provinces have done cloud seeding so that it’ll rain. in other parts of the country, farms have become so dry and plant produce have been greatly affected. This is the time when we say let there be enough but not too much rain! Let it rain, let it rain!

Hello Summer

Hello summer! It is the first day of March already and how time flies! We are already on the third month of the year. Soon it will be summer vacation for students in the country. Summer vacation plans are already brewing up for some families. My friend is already asking for suggestions on places to go for a vacation this summer. I dunno where we want to go for a vacation but as far as I am concerned, I wanna go somewhere not too hot. Just going out in the afternoon these days makes me wanna run inside and just stay there or in the malls where it’s a lot cooler than outside. I hope it would be a great yet cool summer and not so hot!

Sunny Day

It will be a sunny day and I will remain positive today. I will try to remain strong for myself and the boys who are not feeling that well. I remain hopeful and I trust the Lord that He will heal me and my boys as the Lord Jesus heals. Just as the sun shines today, I know we will be better soon. Will catch a few winks with the boys for now as we were up so early today. See you later!
