WS: Lumpia Shanghai (Fried Shanghai Rolls)
For my weekend snapshot, here shot of our fave lumpia shanghai or which some calls fried shanghai rolls was one of the food we had in last night’s dinner with my family. It was a fave for most of us.
We had a little family advance celebration of my dad’s birthday last night at my parent’s home. My dad’s birthday is actually tomorrow yet but we decided to celebrate it in advance since Sunday is family day and so we can have more time since my three siblings plus hubby are working.
WS: Lechon Manok | Kookels Davao
Last night, aside from having this chopcit, (since we did not cook the Swiss Deli assorted cold cuts) I have mentioned too in my other homes that we ordered lechon manok. We were craving actually for crispy, buttered chicken but ended up with this roasted chicken or lechon manok as we call it here from Kookels. So far we loved the lechon manok of Kookels as well as their liempo. Hmmm all sinful foods eh! LOL!

Today, I received a surprise Mother’s Day 2009 gift from Kuya Vince aka Ron – a pack of Choco Vron chocolate polvoron which he gave me this morning accompanied by his nanny Ate Flor. I am touched by the thoughtfulness of Kuya Vince who is 10 years old. They will be moving out of their apartment unit two weeks from now and he will surely be missed.
