Beyond the Box
I have been watching Beyond the Box by HGTV every chance that I get when I catch it on TV when the little boy is asleep and I have free time to watch TV while I work. I am impressed by some of the houses they feature in this show. Those unique, affordable homes that can be created with homeowners’ vision, great design sense, and innovation.
There was one home that has some features similar to the dream home that I have in mind. The quality laminate flooring they used for their home was nice, inexpensive and just what I wanted. I am going to find more time to browse on the houses they have featured before. It is just inspiring to look at those nice houses that makes me want to work harder so that one day soon we could also have our very own house similar to one of those beautiful and functional houses featured at Beyond the Box

Morrisons Apple Squash Juice Concentrate
This is the Morrisons Apple Squash Juice Concentrate that my mom sent to us from the Christmas package that my dear elder sister sent to us from UK. This is really sweet. At first I thought I could just drink it as it is even a little and I did not know that it was juice concentrate so you could imagine how sweet this tasted when I drank it straight without adding any water. Only a little of this for a glass of water will do for me but I was late to know that.
It is delicious and it is the first time that hubby and I have tasted anything like this with squash. I could not actually point out the taste of squash int his juice concentrate. It is more of strong sweet apple taste. the label says no added sugar from this concentrated apple juice drink with sweeteners. Yes it is kind of too sweet for me but I think my sister liked this that is why she sent this to us for us to enjoy drinking it as well.
This should have been our “wine” during New Year. There is still a few left of this since I don’t drink this anymore than hubby does once in awhile.
Feel the Beat
While we did not go out with the boys today, we took time to play around with the little boy after he came home from school. he took out a few musical instruments that he still has as toys and we played music. At one point hubby was trying to teach the little guy to feel the beat of one of the particular music that he like. I hope soon the little one will know how to feel the beat of the music as we play along with some music.
This makes me think of those wireless pulsating metronomes or the digital type which allows a group of performers to feel or hear the same beat simultaneously. This may be an aid for people like me and the little boy to know, feel and hear the beat when we do like as if we are performing. Yes this may seem to be still play for the little one but who knows he may have a part-time career in a band. I won’t say no as long as he has a stable means of living to support at least himself then.
