Mad Science Philippines | Astroboy Julius Arvin Atayde and Android Anna Balmonte on ANC’s Shoptalk on Party Entertainment
I just saw the Mad Science Philippines with Astroboy Julius Arvin Atayde and Android Anna Balmonte on ANC tonight. They are indeed great for for party entertainment which young kids will surely enjoy and I am even amused and amazed myself. This is great for kids who are inclined to science and doing experiments. It looks really fun to have them to entertain kids at a birthday party perhaps as they will learn and will be able to bring home some of the projects and stuff that they can make during the party.

Dress for the Promenade
On my way home after sending the little boy to school earlier, I met three high school students from the other school nearby and I heard them talking about planning in advance to look and shop as early as now for their dress for the promenade. Now that had me thinking for a few seconds before I realized they were talking about shopping for a prom dress.
It may still be months away but I know this is one school event that they might have been looking forward too for a long time. I remember my other classmates way back in high school were really excited for th prom as early as when we were still in our second year in high school. Anyway if you are looking for a a beautiful prom dress, you might as well shop as early as now if you want to really look good for your prom date. I saw some prom dresses from formal designers to affordably cheap prom dresses and gowns. Short prom dresses are said to be hot this year. There are affordable short prom dresses that I was able to browse through. There are many choices actually it’s just up to your style. Years and years before, some of the prom dresses I remember seeing were mostly long. But these time I guess they go for short ones. That’s great choice as long as it isn’t too short as to appear improper already to be considered a dress for the promernade, right?
Welcome Back
::: Where were you the last time that someone welcomed you back? I just went to the mall and the lil boy must have missed me for the couple of hours I was gone that he was so happy to see me. He hugged me so tight and kissed me! That for me is a great welcome to come home to each time.

::: What was the last thing that happened to anger you? It was something that hubby did again! 
::: What was the last thing that you saw that was shocking to see? That video on the news about a torture victim by a police. It was even shown in CNN. 
::: What is your favorite thing to do on Saturday besides Saturday 9? Be lazy but I can’t so I should just say malling with the boys.
::: Have you had your summer vacation yet? If yes tell us about it. We didn’t have a summer vacation. But we are looking forward to a very short weekend trip in about two months from now.
:: Pick out one of your cousins and tell us about them. Well I just want to share one of my cousins named Ian who has been working abroad for quite sometime now and is into photography. I love his photos taking them like a pro!
::: Do you have any special plans for next week? Enjoy the mother-child day in my son’s school next week. I hope he will enjoy it so much!
::: At what age will you consider yourself old and why? That would be when I would feel too many aches and pains in my body perhaps and I can no longer run or find it hard to even walk. I hope that would still be thirty years from now.
Choice of Career
Let us talk about beauty instead of anything else that is scary. I was watching a beauty makeover segment in one TV show a couple of days ago and while watching it, I started wondering the choice of career that the staff of that salon has chosen. But one thing I know though is that a lot of people who have become their clients and customers surely appreciate the beautiful work that they do on them. It must be one gratifying career when people appreciate the work that you do.
These salon staff must really talented or they have gone to a good school like one of those cosmetology schools in Wichita that even offer federal financial aid to those students who do qualify. The training program in this school of beauty as they would call it encourages their students to excel and shine at all times. They must truly come out as beauty experts in the future and salons all around the world would be delighted to have them among their truly qualified staff.
Door Opened
It may sound creepy but it never happened until a minute ago that the door to my son’s bedroom opened by itself. I thought it was the little boy looking for me since I am already up and working in the living room. But when I called out and he did not speak up, I took a peek and found the boys still in bed sleeping. No I did not see anything else unusual.
Okay I will give credit to hubby’s explanation that he might not have closed the door well. There is no wind coming from the living room that might have pushed it open. So it must be the air from the bedroom right? Okay, am gonna cut this story short now before I get more goosebumps.
Lotus and Lilies
A friend’s aunt had asked for our help in looking for pond plants such as lotus and lilies for a school project. I remember the park in the city used to have those in the pond near the man made falls in one part of it. But the lat time we went there which was quite a long while already, they were gone.
What I know though is that I have come across before one of the largest selections of pond plants online and I may just recommend that to my old friend’s aunt. All of the plants they sell are shipped direct from the grower fresh, healthy and are not harvested until you order it. They are ready for planting when they arrive and that is what I remember reading from that source.
I suddenly somehow got interested in those plants she was looking for but since we don’t own this place, we may just have to wait till we can have a small pond made in our own place and probably I’ll be getting from that supplier those lotus and lilies.

Come to think of it again, more unique perhaps to collect than those gold coins I was talking about earlier, is to have a unique collection of gold bars.
